Capstone in Communication Studies
Applied Communication Project: AI Ethical Spectrum
This group project explored AI's ethics and media literacy through a campus-wide intervention targeting college students. Collaboratively, we developed a strategic communication plan that included six days of tabling, interactive posterboards, an Instagram account, and three surveys over a two-week period. Our goal was to engage peers in conversations about the ethical use of AI and assess their awareness and perspectives.

Public Communication
Witch Trials to Abortion Bans: Persuasion, Control, and Rhetoric of Women
This paper explores how historical witch trials and modern abortion bans reflect persistent control over women’s bodies. Using symbolic interactionism, it examines how societal constructs and power structures create scapegoats and justify oppression under the guise of morality. The struggle for reproductive rights today parallels past resistance movements, showing both the cyclical nature of oppression and the resilience of those fighting for justice.

This prequel to a set monologue explores the experiences of a 21st-century woman navigating sexual assault, discrimination, and societal expectations. Drawing on attribution theory, narrative paradigm, and rhetoric of dissent, it delves into the complexities of identity, trust, and resilience, presenting a personal narrative that challenges societal perceptions of women’s struggles. Connecting to a particular rhetorical pattern in literature of women's struggles directly connected to patriarchy.
